We teach students of any level, ages to 8 to 108. Styles include rock, pop, blues, folk, funk, country, jazz, and more. If you don't see your style here, call and we'll try to help you find a teacher that suits you.
Private Lessons:
Campfire: Some people really just want a fun and relaxing opportunity to learn some tunes to pick out on the couch or at the campfire. A little oasis in your week that provides you with a solid foundation for wherever you musical endeavors take you.
Red Leaf: This is more in-depth musical study. In private lessons you will still learn songs by your favorite artists, in addition to music theory, history, ear-training, and more. These are weekly sessions focusing on short and long-term musical goals.
Professional: This is for current or aspiring artists. Students in this program will be given guidance in creating a website, recording a demo, booking/publicizing gigs, and more. Groups
Red Leaf offers group/band classes 3 semesters per year—Spring, Summer, Fall sessions— each 12 weeks in length, meeting weekly for 90 minutes and concluding with a live performance we call RED LEAF ROCKS! at a local live music venue.
Group classes provide, stage experience, confidence, and musical socialization that will enable students of all levels to reach their full potential.
Youth and Teen Bands: Students learn and develop skills on their particular instrument as well as learn to play in a group. Songs worked on throughout the season will be performed at the Red Leaf Rocks show at the end of the 12 weeks. Some experience with the students' choice of instrument is required.
Adult Bands: Students learn and develop skills on their particular instrument as well as practice collaboration and playing in a group situation. Songs worked on throughout the season will be performed at the Red Leaf Rocks show at the end of the 12 weeks. Some experience with the students' choice of instrument is required.
We strongly encourage pairing a group class with private study. Our students who do so consistantly show more improvement and get more enjoyment from their time at Red Leaf when private study is paired with the practical application a group class offers. Groups are especially effective and fun when coupled with private lessons! Ask about special discounts when you sign up for both.

Red Leaf Rocks! Summer Music Camp: Our summer camp hones young rockers' musicianship and teamwork skills as they form groups and prepare songs for an end-of-camp concert at a local live music venue. All styles of teaching are incorporated, from the by-ear approach to standard musical notation.
