Ron D'Argenio

Ron D’Argenio has toured, performed, and recorded, with a myriad of artists in a variety of genres over his 26-year music career. He’s performed with the likes of Ruthie Foster, Michelle Shocked, Miranda Lambert, Malford Millegan, Brandon Rhyder and countless others. Ron also enjoys a career in film composing and sound design. He scored tracks for several indy films and dozens of national and international TV and radio ads while working in New York City, and continues his work here in Austin, TX.

Ron attended William Paterson University in NJ where he studied classical piano as a music education major. Prior to that he attended the Professional Musicians Institute in NJ where he studied jazz piano. Over the years, he has honed skills in blues, country, rock, reggae, Latin, and folk styles.

Ron D’Argenio offers lessons in traditional piano, Hammond Organ, and electronic synthesis to help students become a well-rounded keyboardist. Drawing from his experience in the music industry, he offers professional advice and guidance to aspiring career musicians. If a career in music is not what the student is after, Ron has a fun, easy to learn lesson plan that can introduce the beginner to the world of musicianship.
